1. Summary

FontExtractor does not require an account, does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not sell personal data. We process the website URLs you submit only to extract fonts, and we do not keep them.

2. Information we process

• URLs you submit. When you scan a website, our server fetches that URL and its stylesheets to find fonts. The URL is used for that request only and is not stored in a database.
• Font files. When you preview or download a font, our server fetches the file from its original host and streams it to your browser. Files may be cached temporarily at the edge for up to 24 hours to improve speed. They are not linked to you.
• Technical data. Like every website, our hosting provider receives standard request data such as IP address, browser user agent and time of request. This data is used for security, abuse prevention and reliability.
• Emails. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.

3. Cookies and local storage

We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may store a preference, such as your last preview text, in local storage on your own device. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

4. Service providers

FontExtractor is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes network traffic on our behalf to deliver the website securely and quickly. Cloudflare may process technical data as described in its own privacy policy. We do not share data with other third parties except where required by law.

5. Data retention

Scan requests are not stored. Server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained only for a limited period for security purposes. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. 7. Children

FontExtractor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
